The vision for New Life Church (NLC) is simple, we live for God, we live for His Church and live the life in the communities were in. What this means in practice is that our first priority is to God. NLC places a great emphasis on good biblical teaching, being led by the Holy Spirit, sacrificial service and whole life worship.
Living for the Church (meaning the people in the Church family) has been a defining feature of NLC, this means we look out for one another. Loving the community means reaching out and serving the community, as well as telling people about their Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Stuart Gosling is the new Pastor of NLC, taking over in 2015. He is supported by a team of four elders, who are Ken Leech, Pam Jeffrey, Anthony Bhunu and Jon Hobson. We, the leadership team at NLC, see our primary role as serving Christ. This means looking after His church and holding to the vision of NLC; which is to love the Lord, love His church and to love the community in which we live.
New Life Church is based in Ashton-Under-Lyne, in Tameside. During the week all New Life Church events take place at the New Life Centre on St. James Street in Cockbrook. On a Sunday the Church meets from 10:30 'til 12 at the Ashton Sixth Form College, off Montague Road.
